2008 Youth Soccer Information

The Ottawa Hellenic Athletic Association (OHAA) would like to thank you for your participation and support in our past seasons. We hope that it was an enjoyable outing for yourselves and your children as it was for us. Our affiliation with the Ottawa Royals was successful in providing House League and Competitive play and the upcoming season is one of continued growth with three teams in Competitive. Changes this year include separate Boys and Girls stream in House League.

Program is structured Early Development, House League and Competitive. The House league includes games with teams in the Ottawa Royals club. The Competitive requires travel to play other clubs across the city and practices. Competitive practice days and location to be finalized when the league has completed schedules. Indoor conditioning sessions will also be scheduled for the Competitive teams starting in February. All programs begin after May long weekend and finish in August.

Currently we are forming competitive teams for U11 boys and U10 boys / girls. If there are enough players interested, we will form U9 boys / girls (born 1999) competitive teams. This decision will be made prior to March 1st based on registrations. The U9s can try out for the U10 teams if they wish to play competitive.

Note that teams will be formed based on registration numbers and some age groups may be joined to form a team or put together on a team in the Royals system. Parents will be notified in early March of any changes.

With this growth is the requirement for more infrastructure, coaches, managers and support to administer the entire program. We ask that when you register your child, please volunteer or contact us directly.
